Zoom has been the thing for quite sometime now, where people have been working from home and even kids attending their classes through it. This is an easy thing to do but, often no one tells you how to actually do it and you are left to figure out by yourself. Once you have installed a zoom application and you are well conversant on the way you can actually create/host a zoom meeting, you also should know how to join a meeting. Below are the steps;
Step 1: Open Zoom, go to Home then hit join
Using the zoom app you installed, open it and go to Home and click on join, just as shown below;
Step 2: Sign in on the installed zoom app
To access or rather join a zoom meeting you need to open the zoom app and sign in with your email and password, as shown;
Step 3: Join the Zoom meeting
This can be done in two ways;
- Either by using the meeting ID and password sent by the meeting Host
- Or joining through an invite link
(a) Using the meeting ID
Once you have entered your email and password, you will be presented with a page that requires the ID and password as shown below;
You can also browse the options provided, to fit your liking.
(b) Using an invite link
Here, if you have the app, when a meeting host sends you an invite link, you will be using the installed zoom app. If you do not have one, it will directly take you to your browser, i.e Chrome and opens the app automatically from there.
Joining a zoom meeting for anyone does not have to be a tedious process. Nobody should have to worry even if they are doing interviews or meetings for the first time via zoom. Why? Because the above process will give you just the steps you need to accomplish your task.
