Step 1. Update your System & install dependencies to fetch packages from https sources

To update the Pop!_OS system and install dependencies to hep fetch packages from the https sources, use the command below;

sudo apt update
sudo apt install apt-transport-https

Step 2. Import the GPG Key

To add GPG Key, use the wget command. Just like as shown below;

wget -qO - https://download.sublimetext.com/sublimehq-pub.gpg | sudo apt-key add -

The answer here should be OK.

Step 3. Add Sublime Text APT Repository to your System

To add the Sublime Text APT repository, use the command below;

echo "deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list

The output;

[email protected]:~$ echo "deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list
deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/

Step 4. Update the APT sources and install Sublime Text 3 IDE on Pop!_OS

You need to update the added apt repository, then install Sublime Text 3 IDE on Pop!OS 20.04|20.10|21.04. Use the following commands to execute the above process;

sudo apt update
sudo apt install sublime-text

The output is as follows;
